Iranian feature film ‘Patrol 2’ directed by Saeed Soheili has been scheduled to start its international screening from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
The movie that has made a high-sale record with about $470,000 in Iran’s domestic cinemas will go on Dubai silver screens from Thursday, May 4.
‘Patrol 2’ is a sequel to ‘Guidance Petrol’ which picked up three nominations at 35th edition of the Fajr Film Festival, including Best Actor In a Leading Role for Hamid Farrokhnejad, Best Actor In a Supporting Role for Saed Soheili as well as Poulad Kimiaee, and Best Special Effects for Hamid Rasoulian.
The comedy flick is also slated to go on screen in some other countries, including Canada, Australia and the US.
Soheili’s movie tells the story of Abbas and Hassan who are released from the prison after 5 years.
They go after Ata who was in coma all these years, but recently got better and returned to the normal life.
The three dudes team up once again and go after a decent job. But after doing their best, they find themselves forced to go against the law again.
